This beautiful wooden checkerboard is handcrafted from solid maple and walnut squares, with a border of solid walnut. Rubber pads on the bottom facilitate slip-free play. Choose a solid border for a simple, classic look, or a carved border for a really distinctive handmade game board. We offer two styles of carved border - a repeating geometric pattern or a calligraphy style with a queen’s crown motif and graceful sweeping lines.

Each checkerboard comes with a set of wooden checkers--13 light and 13 dark in a handmade cotton drawstring bag.
