This wedding guest book was made for a dear friend. The front and back covers are white oak, the pages are ivory paper of a nice weight, and antique finish brass rings hold it all together. We loved working on this, knowing it would hold memories of a beautiful day for two wonderful people.

This sign was commissioned by a fellow artisan who sells her handmade soaps at craft fairs and other events. The walnut sign is about 12" x 12" with her logo overlaid in oak.

This was a customer's vision--a walnut box to store her chess board in, with carving on the top to complement the carved border on chess board. The lined box  accommodates the board and pieces.

This is one of two pieces made for a customer for use in his home. The walnut border and cherry inner block are made with end grain wood, with a hard maple inlay. It's  a substantial piece--24" square and 4" thick. Handle grooves  are cut into the sides for ease of handling.

This engraved plaque was commissioned to honor the "Rock Star President" of a library association. It's made of white oak and includes hardware for mounting on a wall. The engraving is filled with dark stain. 

We made our sign from quarter sawn white oak with a walnut overlay. It's about 17" x 22".

This bread box was made for a local baker and given to him by his family on Father's Day. It's made of solid cherry and the word "BREAD" on the lid is an inlay made of walnut. The overall dimensions are 18" wide, 12" deep and 16" high.

Custom tap knife or foam scraper used for scraping the foam off a freshly poured mug of beer behind a bar. This is carved on both sides with a customer's design.

I made this box to donate to a local fundraising auction. It's made of walnut, with a spalted maple top and cherry accents in the corners. There's a nice chatoyance, or shimmer, in the figured pattern of the grain because it was close to a knot where a branch was attached to the trunk of the tree. I went ahead and made 3 other boxes at the same time to sell. 

A thoughtful customer commissioned a Cribbage board with a white oak top and black walnut base, with a special message engraved inside the lid. It was a wedding present, and the different types of wood represent trees that are common in the states that the bride and groom come from.  We love working with customers on these kinds of thoughtful gifts!

The tops of these step stools were designed by a customer with kids' initials. We cut the letters from maple and inlaid them into pockets cut into the walnut tops. They really turned out looking nice!

We can engrave a personal message on almost any of our products to commemorate a special event or honor someone special. We can also engrave on plaques, signs, or other items that you already have. 

This is a fun collaboration with Kids Double Desk, also based in Warrensburg, MO. Nathan got to use his engineering skills to help fine tune the design, then built several prototypes of this desk.
